George W. Bush Presidential Center’s Capital Campaign
Brand Identity, Campaigns
The George W. Bush Presidential Center is home to the Presidential Library and the Bush Institute, a nonpartisan policy organization focused on developing leaders, advancing policy and taking action to solve today’s most pressing challenges.
The capital campaign – “A Charge to Keep” – leveraged a theme ever present throughout President Bush’s political career and transformed it into a call to action to help raise $300 million dollars to permanently endow the Center.
The theme was executed first, by crafting a portfolio of materials meant for donors, supporters and potential investors. A custom folder was designed and built to house an anthem-like brochure, a reproduction of one of President Bush’s paintings and a series of one-sheets that could be tailored to different audiences.
From there, a set of presentation cards and slides were designed to aid the Bush Center’s team in articulating not only the theme, but the goals and needs of the Institute.
